HOLIDAYS IN ALICANTE

Alicante, Province d'Alicante, Espagne
Hello from sunny Paris! I'm finally home after my holidays in Alicante. Alicante is a city in Spain on the Costa Blanca, on the Mediterranean Sea. I've never heard of this city before, but I wasn't disappointed, on the contrary! Indeed, I must admit that I was really tired because of my exams and needed a rest. It was the perfect place to get some time for myself. I stayed in this city for a week and I wish I could have stayed longer! You know that feeling when you're far away from everything and you just want to stay here for ever? I didn't want to come back to Paris! But I have obligations and had to. So I had to enjoy every single second of my vacations in Spain.

.
When we first arrived at the Alicante-Elche Airport, we knew our holidays were starting immediatly! It was soooo hot outside and we just couldn't wait to discover our hotel and the city. We chose the Melia Alicante hotel, near the sea. Meliá Alicante, one of the city’s most iconic hotels, is located between Postiguet Beach and Alicante marina, near the well-known Paseo de la Explanada de España, the historic and commercial centre of the city and Santa Bárbara Castle. Our room had a sea view and the breakfast buffet offered an extensive choice of products with unbeatable views of the Mediterranean Sea aswell. Here are a few pictures I took during my stay in Alicante...

I highly suggest you guys to discover Alicante if you ever have the opportunity.  Don’t stay there for too long though as it’s a very small city with not that much to do, but it’s so cute and perfect for a short week-end to enjoy the beach, the streets, and the restaurants with your friends or just as a romantic date! I couldn't post all the pictures I took there, so my next posts will be about 2 of my favorite outfits I wore in Alicante, stay tuned !

I'm going to Spain in a month and have so many places I want to visit I can hardly decide. If I have time, I definitely want to check Alicante out, it looks amazing from your photographs. Looks like you had a lovely time!
