Healthy tips... Avocado Toasts!

Hi my lovelies, 

As you may know, I decided to start a new life, a healthy life! I've started eating better for now 9 days. I already feel better inside, and outside. My skins seems clearer and I lost weight. I've always wanted to eat healthy because I needed to STOP junk-food! Little by little, my habits are changing. My breakfast always starts with a tea, and once a week, I eat avocado toasts. Avocados may be fatty, but that doesn't mean that they are bad for your health. In fact, this fruit is a nutritional powerhouse providing numerous potential health benefits.

- Health benefits of avocados -

Apart from being an excellent source of fiber and vitamins, research suggests that there may be a number of other benefits associated with the fruit, including: lowering cholesterol levels, reducing the risk of diabetes, promoting lower body weight, and preventing cancer.

When eating avocado toast, you still have some decisions to make: What kind of bread will you use? Will you slice or smash? Will you finish your toast with salt or with spices or with something else? And so on.

- My recipe -

I made it very simple. Here are the ingredients used : 1 ripe avocado, tomatoes, lime juice, sea salt, 2 slices whole-grain bread + toasted, and pepper. Simple but effective! I chose to smash the avocado because I think it's easier to eat. But you can choose to just slide it! That's my recipe, it was very tasty and that's healthy. BUT don't eat avocados everyday, that's not good for your health. Once a week is enough. You can also add cheese, herbs or eggs as toppings. I may try this next week, I will tell you if it's worth to try it!

Now you have an example of a healthy breakfast. Don't forget that your body is your responsibility: what you choose to put in your body will determine how it will feel.
